One more for my 5BDXCC

I have achived 100 and more cofirmations for 17 m. But I still miss a few on 12 m. So when I checked my mail box today I found a new one for 12 m. It was XE3ARV that I worked on 12 m in January this year.

Anyway I visited the hospital today. Removed the plaster and wiggled with my thumb. Not to good. Joint No 2 from the nail is gone fishing for good. Now I have start to move Joint No 1 (behind the nail) and I can for the moment only move it a few mm. Scheduled for next vsit at 20 of June. And we are at version 4 for the plaster!

So othervise all is OK. I have worked E40VB and A5A on a few band slots. Also a couple of IOTA operations have entered into my log.

So back to Radio!

New IOTA

Yesterday a new QSL from IOTA OC-118 (Futuna Isl) arrived. It was from FW0NAR/P operated by Laci HA0NAR and his XYL  Susanne. Once more time a wery well performed DXpedition by Laci. I worked him on one band only for the IOTA score.

So now my IOTA is up one more point.

Summer is here in Sweden. Just now at 05:00 Z the temperature is 15 C. It will be a nice day that I will spend in my garden with a few cup's of coffee!

QSL arrived today!

During the present on-going operation from 6O0CW the February operation from Somalia arrived. It was 6O3A that I worked on just 3 band slots and on CW only. 30, 17 and 15 m band was worked. But the QSL states Somaliland. But I hope this is OKfor DXCC.

Due to my damaged thumb I finally got the time to install and program MMTTY. My first QSO's on RTTY was 7O6T on 17 m and 6O0CW on 12 m. 6O0CW has a direct on-line log so I could check out that I was in the log on RY jus a few minutes after our QSO.

I had a two day prodject to cut the lawn. And this morning I finished off the last part of the lawn. Normally this is a 3 hr task. But as I only is able to use just one fully functional arm it was a two day job. Try to start a lawnmover with one hand for your self. Then you all understand my problem.

Take care all of you readers out there. See you soon!

Removal of 8 stitches and progress on 7O6T

Today I have visited my doctor and he has removed all the stitches that was needed to patch my thumb back to almost the same shape as before??!! He also reinstalled a new plaster but not as big as No: 2. So now we are at version No: 3. In about 2 more weeks I will re-visit my doctor and this time we will start to wiggle with the thumb. Just to see how much movement there are.

I have managed to catch 7O6T in 11 band slots. I have also worked 6O0CW on a few slots on both SSB and CW.

Have to show you all my daughters new friend. He is a real good looking guy, or..........?

Well, isn't he nice?

Thats all for now.

Take care all of you readers and remember that QRP (?) life is to short!

Damaged hand and 7O6T

Despite my severly injured hand I managed to work 7O6T on 20 and 17 m bands.

Almost impossible to send CW. This is the 2:nd version of plaster. 1:st version was in a size of a football. After 11 of May I will receive a new one. End of May the movement of the thumb will be tested.

Take care all of you out there
